LORD ROLL AWAY THE STONE (MUSLIM BRETHREN)

LUKE 24:1-12 “But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, the women went to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared (to finish anointing the body). And they found the (large, circular) STONE ROLLED BACK from the Tomb, but when they went inside, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed and wondering about this, suddenly, two men in dazzling clothing stood near them, and as the women were terrified and were bowing their faces to the ground, the men said to them, ”Why are you looking for the living one among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. Remember how He told you, while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man
must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise (from death to life)” And they remembered His words, and after returning from the tomb, they reported all these things to the eleven (apostles) and to all the rest. Now they were Mary Magdalene and Joana (the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward) and Mary the mother of James; also the other women with them were telling these things to the apostles. But their report seemed to them like idle talk and nonsense, and they would not believe them. But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. Stooping and looking in, he saw only the linen wrappings; and he went away, wondering about what happened.

 The above record is a recount of what happened when Jesus died, I would like us to pray with this passage of the bible for our Muslim brethren especially the women amongst them; because when a woman in a home is a believer it is just a matter of time, the spouse and children will follow suit. Women are very relevant and they have a special place in God’s agenda.

• Let us thank God for our brethren especially for the women amongst them, for the gift of life and the fact that Jesus died for them as well, the finished work of Calvary had them in mind and it would not be in vain. In the bible verse Peter was the only male name mentioned all others were women, that is not an error.

• Psalms 68:11 “The Lord issues a command. Numerous are the women who announce the news” Thank God because these sisters of ours are part of those to announce the good news of the kingdom of God. Pray that they will hear the Word and will run with it. They would be like the woman at the well, their slogan would be “Come and SEE” And as they do signs and wonders would follow them.

• It was recorded that it was the women that went to the Tombstone first EARLY in the morning, with their spices because they believed He would still be in the Tomb. They had forgotten that He had told them He would resurrect. Pray that as our brethren come in contact with HIM, every word of FAITH/PROMISE they hear THEY WILL NOT FORGET, but keep it in their heart and run with it even as they tell others.

• It was recorded that the linen wrappings was found folded, this according to Jewish tradition means the person has not finished or will come back. JESUS IS COMING BACK. Let us pray that our brethren will begin to look forward to His return and turn away from their religious ways but receive the REAL DOCTRINE of the Real/ FULL Gospel that can save them and ensure their Eternity.

• The stone at the Tomb had been rolled away by the time the women arrived at the Tomb, Pray that every stone of Heresy, Unbelief, Doubt, Islamic doctrine/Beliefs, Spiritual blindness etc that might be standing as a hindrance/barrier to their salvation be rolled away, and let the King of Glory be allowed His rightful place in their lives.

• Pray that during this period of Ramadan that they will have an unprecedented encounter with the Cross and indeed let their lives never remain the same again in Jesus name. Lord JESUS come and Rule and REIGN
